Whitehead apparently sustained the injury during Friday's loss to the Jazz, in which he played 25 minutes and finished with seven points and four rebounds. The 21-year-old will be evaluated again closer to game-time, at which point a final call on his status will be made. In the event Whitehead is sidelined, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Sean Kilpatrick could each see slight boosts in minutes, and the Nets will also be without Joe Harris (concussion/shoulder).
