Hood came off the bench again with Joe Ingles drawing the start at shooting guard, and he struggled with his shot for the third straight contest. The third-year guard has now posted a sub-30 percent success rate for three straight games and is just 2-for-12 from behind the arc over that span. However, Hood's scoring tally, which was heavily supplemented by six visits to the free-throw line, was his first double-digit effort in the new month. It remains to be seen if coach Quin Snyder will opt to keep Hood on the second unit once the postseason begins, but his scoring upside figures to afford him a good opportunity of rejoining the starting five at that point.
