Falcons at Buccaneers Fantasy Recap (Week 15, 2017)

The Atlanta Falcons are two wins away from winning the NFC South.

It wasn't always a thing of beauty, but the Falcons finished off Week 15 with a 24-21 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Devonta Freeman had a massive day for the men in black. He rushed for 126 yards and caught five passes for 68 yards. He scored the touchdown that effectively put the game away in the fourth quarter, but it would have been an even bigger day had he finished off his run on the goal-line in the second quarter. Instead, those with Freeman on their Dober Play Cards were robbed of six Dober Fantasy Points when Levine Toilolo recovered Freeman's fumble in the end zone for the Atlanta touchdown.

Jameis Winston came on strong at the end of this game, but he just couldn't quite finish the job. The former top overall pick easily beat his Projected Fantasy Points total by throwing three touchdown passes, and he helped get Mike Evans, Adam Humphries and O.J. Howard past their PFP totals as well.

Howard's rookie season may have been cut short by a leg injury, though. He hobbled off the field and was taken into the locker room in the third quarter and was held to just one catch for this game.
