The Atlanta Falcons are set to crisscross the country.
The defending NFC champs weren't quite at their best, but they did finish the job with ease against a Los Angeles Rams outfit that didn't look ready for this moment on the big stage. Now, they'll head to the City of Brotherly Love to battle it out with the Philadelphia Eagles.
It took a little while for the Falcons to put the Rams away, but they sucked the life out of the crowd at the Coliseum by keeping the ball for over 13 minutes of the third quarter. Atlanta ran 26 plays in that quarter alone, and though it only managed two of Matt Bryant's four field goals on the day on those drives, just the fact that Todd Gurley and Jared Goff were kept off the field was a huge problem.
The stars did what the stars had to do for the Falcons in this game. Matt Ryan was a loser on Dober Play Cards due to the fact that he only had one touchdown pass, but all four of Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones, Tevin Coleman and Mohamed Sanu were winners.
The Rams put up some gaudy numbers in the fourth quarter while playing catch-up, but they'll take little solace in the fact that both Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp put up huge numbers.
Gurley, up against an inside Projected Fantasy Points total of 21.5, was a loser in spite of the fact that he rushed for 101 yards.
