Ravens vs. Jaguars Fantasy Recap (Week 3, 2017)

There isn’t one stat that tells you just how dominant the Jacksonville Jaguars were in their 44-7 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the first England game of the year. There was, however, an entire box score filled with proof of said dominance.

At halftime, the Jaguars were up 23-0. They had outgained Baltimore 262-15, had a 16-1 advantage in first downs and held the ball for 21:47 of the 30 minutes. The Ravens had -4 net passing yards on the half, and Joe Flacco had just one completion heading into the final two minutes of the second quarter.

It’s too bad that wasn’t the end of the embarrassment for Baltimore.

Jacksonville rolled up three more touchdowns in the second half. The day was highlighted by Marcedes Lewis, a man who hadn’t caught a single pass this season and had a Dober Projected Fantasy Points total of just 1.0 in this game. Lewis scored three touchdowns for the first time in his 11-year career, and there was a point in the third quarter that he had three times the receiving yards as the entire Baltimore team.

Ironically, the fact that Lewis shined really took away a lot of the luster of the rest of the Jacksonville offense. Lewis, Blake Bortles and Leonard Fournette beat their PFPs, but the rest of this offense was stuck in neutral.

Baltimore didn’t have a single player with more than 4.0 Dober Fantasy Points before its one scoring drive of the game when Alex Collins picked up a slew of garbage time yards and Benjamin Watson scored a touchdown.
