Bears at Buccaneers Fantasy Recap (Week 2, 2017)

When Mike Glennon signed his massive contract to be the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears, the one thing he must have wanted to do was stick it to the team that drafted him. Instead, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a field day against Glennon in a 29-7 victory in Week 2.

The first half was pure brilliance by the Tampa Bay defense. The Buccaneers intercepted two of Glennon's passes, including one that Robert McClain took the other way for a 47-yard touchdown. It all led to a 26-0 halftime lead and inevitably, plenty of calls from Bears fans to bring out Mitch Trubisky for the second half.

Trubisky never saw the field, though, and Glennon was left out there to throw the ball 45 times. On a day when Chicago ran for just 20 total yards, Glennon threw for 301 and amassed 11.04 Dober Fantasy Points.

Tampa Bay didn't have as great of a day at the office as fantasy footballers might have expected. Jacquizz Rodgers had a nice day on the ground with 67 yards and a touchdown while Mike Evans had a typical Mike-Evans performance with 93 yards and a score.
