A rainy night at Lambeau Field gave way to yet another maestro of a performance by Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay Packers' superstar was challenged by Mother Nature, poor offensive line play, and injuries to both Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams, yet he still threw four touchdown passes en route to a 35-14 victory over the hated Chicago Bears.
For Green Bay, this was a game that was rather par for the course. Rodgers chucked the ball all over the yard, and the team came up with five offensive touchdowns.
Yet the man who probably will take the most headlines from this game from a fantasy perspective is Aaron Jones. Jones was third on the depth chart coming into this one, but with both Montgomery and Williams down by the end of the first quarter, the backfield was his alone. Jones capitalized with 49 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The Bears were once again stagnant on offense, and one has to wonder just how long it's going to take John Fox to turn this unit over to rookie Mitchell Trubisky.
Mike Glennon was responsible for four turnovers on the night, and it's hard to say that any of them could be blamed on anyone but himself. That's nine turnovers in four games for the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer, and we're really at the point that the franchise has nothing to lose but to see what Trubisky brings to the table.
