The Minnesota Vikings had no trouble wrapping up a first-round bye in the playoffs by disposing of the Chicago Bears 23-10 in Week 17.
The Vikings played the game they had to play in order to beat the Bears. They constantly lined up eight and nine men in the box and dared Mitchell Trubisky to throw the ball. The results were not good for Chicago.
The Bears' only score of the day came on special teams. The offense barely amassed 200 yards and only had one man, Dontrelle Inman, go over 30 total yards of offense on the day.
Trubisky went 20-for-36 for 178 yards. The good news is that he wasn't picked off, but he also didn't really get the Bears anywhere near the end zone for much of the day.
Offensively, the Vikings were once again sound. Few put up huge Dober Fantasy Points totals, though Latavius Murray had a big afternoon on the ground with 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Stefon Diggs also beat his Projected Fantasy Points total with six catches, 65 yards and a score.
