Jeffery was forced to miss the Bears' last four games after violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. That absence most notably resulted in Eddie Royal (toe), Cameron Meredith and Marquess Wilson (groin) sliding up Chicago's depth chart at wide receiver, but injuries to both Royal and Wilson have left the team even thinner in that department lately. As a result, potentially having Jeffery back in the fold ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers should be a welcomed opportunity for the Bears, although it remains to be seen how he'll mesh with starting quarterback Matt Barkley.
