Though Wheaton has yet to return to full practice, his limited participation in back-to-back days nonetheless bodes well for his chances of suiting up Week 2 against the Buccaneers. It's still likely that Wheaton will be deemed questionable heading into the weekend, but if he practices again Friday in some capacity, he'll likely be on the field two days later. Wheaton could carve out a sizable role in the Bears' passing attack right away, as the roster is sorely lacking in premium receiving options.
