Royal didn't practice Wednesday nor Thursday, so the fact that he still has a chance to play Sunday suggests he may have been involved in some capacity during Friday's session. While the Bears' practice report should clarify that soon, Royal's toe problem limited him to just 12 of Chicago's 80 offensive snaps last Sunday, so his role figures to limit his value even if he's cleared to take the field this weekend.
