While playing under the franchise tag in 2016, Jeffery turned in a rather disappointing season, hauling in 52 catches for 821 yards and only two touchdowns while missing four games due to a suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. Despite his downturn in performance the last two years, the 26-year-old Jeffery figures to generate plenty of interest in free agency and could see his numbers climb if he lands in a favorable passing offense. The Bears would likely have interest in retaining Jeffery, but they could be priced out of the market.
