Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Glennon's deal with the Bears is slated to be a three-year, $45 million contract that includes $18.5 million guaranteed. That's a hefty price to pay for a QB who has only made eight regular season appearances over the last three seasons, but it's clear that the Bears are committed to moving on from previous starter Jay Cutler. According to Rapoport, Chicago is still expected to draft a quarterback, which underscores the Bears' desire to engineer a complete re-boot at the QB position. Meanwhile, Glennon's fantasy upside in 2017 will be largely tied to his supporting cast, and at this stage who he will be throwing to remains a fluid situation, with top wideout Alshon Jeffery a candidate to sign elsewhere in free agency.
