With as bad as the AFC North appears to be this year, the Cincinnati Bengals could be right back in the discussion for the division crown after a 20-16 triumph over the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.
The Cincinnati offense has looked substantially better since firing Ken Zampese. Andy Dalton was picked off twice, but he did throw for 328 yards and a touchdown in what amounted to be his second-best Dober Fantasy Points day of the season at 14.32.
For the second consecutive game, Joe Mixon took over as the lead running back, relegating both Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard to reserve roles. The rookie from Oklahoma paid dividends with 15 carries for 51 yards and a touchdown, exceeding his Projected Fantasy Points total with ease.
But the day belonged to A.J. Green. In his first two games of the season, Green was held to a total of 10 receptions for 141 yards. He didn't beat his PFP in either of those games. On this day, he came up with his best show with seven receptions, 189 yards and a touchdown. It was his third straight game with a score and coincidentally, his third straight beating his PFP.
Buffalo's offense struggled to get much going. Brandon Tate was the lone touchdown scorer on the afternoon while LeSean McCoy had a respectable day as a rusher (19 carries for 63 yards) and a receiver (six receptions for 26 yards).
Nick O'Leary replaced an injured Charles Clay and led the team in receiving with 54 yards on five receptions. If Clay has to miss any time due to his leg problem, O'Leary could step in and become relevant for your future Dober Play Cards.
