For as well as Jacoby Brissett has played most of this season, it seems inappropriate that his pick-six was the culprit in a potentially season-defining loss for the Indianapolis Colts at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals.
In a matchup of two-win teams, it was Cincinnati that salvaged its season with a 24-23 victory in Week 8. The highlight came when Carlos Dunlap picked off Brissett and brought it back 16 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
It was Brissett's only mistake in a day that was otherwise solid, though the team around him just couldn't quite pick him up.
A week after getting sacked 10 times, Brissett was sacked four times by the Bengals.
Jack Doyle had a banner fantasy day for the Colts, catching 12 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown for a career-high 25.1 Dober Fantasy Points.
Cincinnati was far from stellar Sunday, especially when it came to running the football. Joe Mixon, who just clamored for more carries last week, had just 11 rushes for 18 yards with a fumble. That said, he also caught a 67-yard pass and finished with 91 receiving yards to salvage his fantasy day.
Though both Mixon and Andy Dalton beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals, none of the other major players for the Bengals did, continuing a frustrating season for Dober Fantasy players.
