The Detroit Lions were never a good bet to get into the NFL playoffs. In Week 16, though, their postseason hopes were officially extinguished when they were beaten by the Cincinnati Bengals 26-17.

The win for Cincinnati came in what will be the last home game for coach Marvin Lewis.

Giovani Bernard had one of the bigger games of his career for Dober Fantasy players. He amassed 116 yards and a touchdown on the ground and caught seven passes out of the backfield for 52 yards. Bernard's big game was a bit of a surprise considering the fact that Joe Mixon was back in the lineup. Mixon, though, only touched the ball five times for the entire game.

The Lions whimpered out of the postseason on a day that Matthew Stafford simply didn't look right. He went 19-for-35 for 203 yards and a touchdown, but many of his Dober Fantasy Points were racked up when this game was already out of reach.

Tion Green scored his first career touchdown for the Lions, but he and Eric Ebron were the only two Detroit players who beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals.
