LaFell started off hot last season, with at least 50 yards receiving in four of his first five games. He ended the season on the opposite end of the spectrum with under 50 yards or less in four of six games. He has continued that modest production throughout the preseason and on Sunday. Given Tyler Eifert's injury history, LaFell is probably Cincinnati's most reliable threat outside A.J. Green. Given how the Bengals looked on Sunday, that might not mean much, however, and things are unlikely to improve from a production standpoint once rookie first-round pick John Ross gains his footing.
