Packers at Lions Fantasy Recap (Week 17, 2017)

Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford didn't lead the Detroit Lions into the playoffs, but at least he finished up his season with a fine performance.

The Lions beat the Green Bay Packers 35-11 in one of their most complete games of the season.

Stafford became the fastest quarterback to get to 3,000 completions in NFL history in this game, and he finished 20-for-29 for 323 yards and three touchdowns to crush his Projected Fantasy Points total. The same could be said for Golden Tate, who had one of his best games of the year with 104 receiving yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion.

The Packers struggled mightily once again. Brett Hundley had a couple reasonable moments this season in relief of the injured Aaron Rodgers, but he isn't ready to be a starting quarterback at this level. Hundley finished up his year throwing for 172 yards with a touchdown and two picks, but rare was the game in which he posted a win on Dober Play Cards in Rodgers' absence.

If there was a silver lining for the Packers, it's that Randall Cobb made a rare appearance at the top of the fantasy leaderboards among wide receivers. He only had four grabs for 45 yards, but his touchdown was enough to beat his PFP total.
