Broncos vs. Chiefs Fantasy Recap (Week 8, 2017)

There was a moment on Monday night that Dober Fantasy players had to wonder if another superstar had been lost to a horrid injury.

Fortunately, Travis Kelce's leg injury proved to be nothing but a tiny spook on the eve of Halloween. The Kansas City Chiefs needed every single one of Kelce's 133 receiving yards to put away the Denver Broncos, 29-19, and cap off Week 8.

Kelce was the leading fantasy scorer in this game with his 23.8 Dober Fantasy Points, his third consecutive game against Denver putting at least 20 DFP on the board.

Unfortunately, the rest of this game was a mere dud for everyone else.

In his return to Kansas City, Jamaal Charles had eight rushes for 39 yards, but he'll be remembered most for his fumble on the opening drive of the game that the Chiefs returned for a touchdown.

Denver was never seriously in the game from that point forward.

The Broncos are going to have to answer some questions at the quarterback spot soon, too. Trevor Siemian threw three more interceptions on Monday, giving him 10 for the season. This marked the fourth time in five games that Siemian failed to reach his Projected Fantasy Points total. At some point, the Broncos have to think about seeing whether Paxton Lynch, when healthy, can legitimately guide this team as its franchise quarterback. John Elway might have to turn back to Brock Osweiler as well.
