The Kansas City Chiefs at starting to look like the version of themselves that started at 5-0 instead of the version that lost six of its next seven games. They took care of business against the Los Angeles Chargers 30-13 in Week 15, and their path to the AFC West title is now clear as day.
The Chargers, meanwhile, picked a horrid time to turn the ball over four times. It was a particularly frustrating day for Philip Rivers, who went 20-for-36 for 227 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions.
The only Charger who had a fantastic day at the office was Melvin Gordon. Gordon rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown and caught six balls for 91 yards, including the only play of the game for Los Angeles that covered more than 18 yards.
Kareem Hunt got himself back into the Offensive Rookie of the Year chase in a big way in Week 15. After months of being frustrated in the backfield, Hunt ran for 155 yards and a score and caught seven passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Tyreek Hill also had third consecutive excellent game. Hill beat his Projected Fantasy Points total with 88 yards and a touchdown. It was also Hill's third straight game with an individual play of at least 44 yards. If he keeps that up and Hunt continues running the ball and catching it at a high rate, the Chiefs are going to be dangerous going into the playoffs.
