Rivers led touchdown drives on each side of halftime to give his team a lead into the third quarter. Unfortunately, the offense fell apart after that juncture, turning the ball over on four consecutive possessions as Kansas City pulled away for good. Rivers had been in good form prior to this stinker, with an average of 316.6 yards and 10 touchdowns compared to just one interception over his previous five games. In the thick of a playoff race, the veteran will look to bounce back next week against the Jets.
