Patriots at Broncos Fantasy Recap (Week 10, 2017)

You're not going to beat the New England Patriots trading field goals for touchdowns. The Denver Broncos learned that the hard way in a 41-16 loss on Sunday Night Football.

Fresh from their bye week, the Patriots seemingly got back to their roots, spreading the field out with a pair of tight ends and getting Dion Lewis, Rex Burkhead and James White into space.

Even on a day when the yardage totals weren't overwhelming for New England, the final tally on the scoreboard surely was. The Patriots were actually outgained 189-184 in the first half, but a 103-yard kick return for a touchdown by Lewis and the fact that New England was able to score three touchdowns in that first half against Denver's three field goals is what led to the game feeling like a blowout.

To Brock Osweiler's credit, he did a respectable job working the ball to both Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. This was the first game all season long that both men beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals. Yet when Denver had three shots at the end zone in the first half, all that it had to show for its work were three Brandon McManus field goals.

Even after Thomas scored his second touchdown of the season to open the second half, there was never a point a neutral could have honestly thought Denver was in this game.
