The Philadelphia Eagles had every reason to have a bit of a post-Thanksgiving lull in Week 12. Instead, they blew out the Chicago Bears 31-3 and once again reasserted their position as the top team in the NFC.
Amazingly, the Eagles keep finding enough footballs to go around their offense. Neither Jay Ajayi nor Corey Clement lived up to their hype of previous weeks when they feasted off of big plays, but both got a reasonable timeshare in the backfield. LeGarrette Blount powered his way to 97 rushing yards to beat his Projected Fantasy Points total, and Carson Wentz and the passing game did the rest.
Wentz was brilliant once again, throwing for 244 yards and three scores to three different receivers. Wentz along with Zach Ertz, Alshon Jeffrey and Nelson Agholor all beat their PFP totals.
It shouldn't be a surprise that the Bears were a wreck in this game. They rushed for just six yards on 14 carries, and Mitchell Trubisky accounted for 12 of those six yards. When Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combine for nine carries (and negative five yards!), you know it's going to be a long day at the office in the Windy City.
Dontrelle Inman continued to be a nice surprise for the Bears, but without a Bears touchdown on the board Sunday, he was the only man to beat his PFP target.
