Titans at 49ers Fantasy Recap (Week 15, 2017)

Robbie Gould

Robbie Gould has made 15 field goals over the course of the last three weeks, but none were bigger than his 45-yarder at the gun to lead the San Francisco 49ers past the Tennessee Titans, 25-23.

Gould had one of the best days for a kicker in fantasy football history. He amassed 24 Dober Fantasy Points and now has 36 made kicks in 38 attempts this year. The NFL record for field goals in a single season is 44, and if Gould keeps up this torrid pace, he might have a chance to break that record.

The bigger news for the Niners is that Jimmy Garoppolo just keeps winning.

Garoppolo struggled in the scoring zone over the course of the whole game once again, but he threw for 381 yards and a touchdown and now has the Niners in the win column in three straight games.

The loss for Tennessee was excruciating, as it dropped the team back into a tie with Baltimore and Buffalo for the two Wild Card spots in the AFC.

The Titans have no one to blame but themselves for this, though. They rushed for just 90 yards on 28 carries, and that isn't going to get the job done more often than not for a team that is wholly dependent on running the football.
