Mariota orchestrated a 95-yard touchdown drive to give his team a seven-point lead after one quarter, capping it with the first of two touchdown passes to Corey Davis. In the second quarter, a questionable Eric Decker offensive pass interference on third down, a neutral zone infraction call that should have been a false start on a New England punt, and a missed face mask on a fourth-down Derrick Henry run all took away potential points from Mariota and the Titans offense. With those potential opportunities all squandered and star right tackle Jack Conklin going down in the first half as well, Mariota was under siege the rest of the way, as New England no longer had to fear the run and sacked the mobile quarterback eight times. Mariota's improved play in the postseason coupled with Davis' coming-out party here after a disappointing rookie season should have fans excited about what lies ahead for this passing game.
