Cardinals at Redskins Fantasy Recap (Week 15, 2017)

The Arizona Cardinals never really had a serious shot of getting into the playoffs in the NFC, but they were at least still mathematically alive heading into Week 15. The Washington Redskins ended all of that by picking up a 20-15 victory to officially eliminate the Cardinals.

To say that this game wasn't a work of art would be an understatement. The Redskins only finished the day with 218 total yards of offense. Arizona at least drove the field a handful of times over the course of the day, though seven drives that got inside scoring range only yielded five Phil Dawson field goals.

Kapri Bibbs was probably the biggest positive surprise on this day. He split the Washington backfield with Samaje Perine and amassed 53 yards from scrimmage, including one of Kirk Cousins' two touchdowns on the day.

Blaine Gabbert struggled mightily, particularly in the red zone over the course of the game. He finished 16-for-41 for 189 yards with an interception and a lost fumble, and the fact that he couldn't put the ball in the end zone even once was the total downfall of the Cards on this day.
