Markstrom missed the final 24 games of the season after injuring his knee in a skills competition, but with the entire offseason to rehab, there's no reason to think he won't be fully ready to go and compete for the starting job during the next campaign. The Swedish keeper posted mediocre numbers this season, showing a 10-11-3 record, .910 save percentage and 2.63 GAA while failing to record any shutouts.
