The Seattle Seahawks never really deserved to get into the playoffs in 2017. They weren't going to get in even if they did beat the Arizona Cardinals, but a 26-24 loss to their NFC West rivals was a rather fitting ending to a disappointing season.
Once again, Russell Wilson did just about everything for the Hawks. He threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another 36 yards. If he didn't do it, it largely didn't get done. The only other man who accounted for any plays beyond 10 yards was Mike Davis, and 33 of his 48 yards came on one run.
Doug Baldwin finished off his season with four catches, 90 yards and two touchdowns.
The Cards deserve a lot of credit for taking this game in Seattle with nothing to play for. This was reportedly going to be Bruce Arians' last game, and the fact that he was able to go out a winner with Drew Stanton at quarterback is a testament to just how great of a coach he has been in his career.
Stanton struggled all game long, going 15-for-34 for 145 yards and a touchdown with a pick.
Larry Fitzgerald, perhaps playing in his final NFL game, had eight catches for 55 yards.
