The Cardinals cited Brown's quad on the injury report Wednesday, which could be the same one that hindered him throughout training camp and the preseason. At the time, head coach Bruce Arians mentioned Brown's sickle-cell trait induces longer recoveries. It's unclear how much time Brown will require this time to rid himself of the concern, but his ability (or lack thereof) to practice Thursday and/or Friday will be telling for his Week 2 availability. If it lingers, J.J. Nelson and Jaron Brown would take on enhanced roles Sunday at Indianapolis.
