Seldom does the injury of a running back have a direct effect on a wide receiver, but David Johnson is no ordinary running back. Brown and Johnson tied for second on the team with nine targets each on Sunday and with Johnson facing an extended absence with a wrist injury, Brown may stand to get increased exposure. Carson Palmer, who struggled mightily on Sunday, has grown to depend on Johnson for quick dump-off passes. Look for the offense to turn to Brown, capable of taking a short pass to the house with his speed, to help fill the void and give Palmer some easy completions.
